Biography
Calvin Nguyen's journey is an inspiring blend of academic commitment, entrepreneurial spirit, and industry leadership. Starting with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Calvin began his tech career with development roles at Koders Inc., PriceGrabber.com, and Microsoft, where he transitioned from software engineering to product management.His commitment to education led him back to UCLA to obtain a Master's degree and then pursue a Ph.D. program in Computer Science. During his graduate studies, he taught a wide range of courses as a Teaching Fellow and held leadership positions in entrepreneurial communities. Shifting from his Ph.D. studies to entrepreneurship, Calvin became a partner in Greengar, a mobile app startup, and scaled the company to reach millions of users globally. He later served as Technical Director for One+K, before establishing his consulting business and engaging in other small business ventures.
